My dearest Amos,

I bought you this Christmas card at Dontzhimen on a windy and cold afternoon a few days ago. I called DHL just now and asked them to fetch the package tomorrow--including a suit of brand-new Chinese cupping which you loved so much while you were in China and a scarf I made for you--so that you could receive my gift by Christmas.

Christmas, New Year and our first anniversary are coming. I just don't know how to get over all these festivals when we're supposed to be together, though. All my friends and my family members have their loved ones with them, whereas I have to be on my own. However, I'm not complaining, because we're couple now and what is important in a marriage is that two people should not only share the good moments, but also undertake all the difficult or bad time together.

Well, life is a long journey filled with good and bad stuff and the most wonderful thing I've ever done is to have you as my company. Thank you for being with me and making my life so beautiful; thank you for comforting me when I was really depressed; thank you for tolerating my bad temper while I was trying to irritate you; thank you for the efforts and sacrifices you've made to make our relationship work.  

And all these appreciations come into one sentence: I love you!

Merry Christmas and happy New Year, and the most important thing is: Happy Our First Anniversary!
